Proper Golfing and Proper Golfing SIM are the brainchild of PGA Pro and YouTuber Julian Mellor and TV's Jo Cameron. Julian has spent his life in golf and Jo Cameron has spent her professional life helping people learn. Your golf improvement is their passion.
Jo is a former BBC Broadcaster and was a candidate on the TV Show The Apprentice.
The SIM is a one bay personal space where you can get completely lost in the moment. It's a home-from-home experience where you can lock yourself away and indulge yourself in your passion.
Proper Golfing is an online golf academy where people from all over the world join for access to Julian, swing analysis and a library of over 300 videos.
Jo and Julian met when Jo went to learn to play golf in 2007. They have worked for many years together in the golf industry.
For years they have wanted to have their own facility and in 2023 they dream became a reality.

About Julian
Julian Mellor is a world-renowned golf coach and the founder of the Proper Golfing Golf Academy, an online platform that helps golfers of all skill levels improve their game. With over 30 years of experience in coaching and playing professional golf, Julian is dedicated to helping golfers achieve their full potential.
Born and raised in the UK, Julian began playing golf at the age of 8 and quickly developed a passion for the game. He turned professional at the age of 19 and spent the next 20 years playing in various PGA competitive events .
After retiring from competitive professional golf, Julian turned his attention to coaching and quickly became one of the most sought-after instructors in the world. He has coached golfers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, and has helped many of his students achieve significant improvements in their game.
In 2013, Julian founded the Julian Mellor Golf School to share his knowledge and expertise with a wider audience. The Proper Golfing online platform now offers a range of courses and coaching programs designed to help golfers improve their technique, develop their mental game, and reach their full potential.
Members of Proper Golfing have access to a wealth of resources, including instructional videos, practice drills, and personalised coaching from Julian himself.
